The incumbent is responsible for development, implementation, management, and reporting outcomes of the Oncology Drug Stewardship Program. They will institute improved auditing to ensure safe and effective use of drugs and manage requests for oncology medications. They will work collaboratively with the Formulary Program Manager, Pharmacoeconomics Program Manager, and Pharmacy Procurement Technicians to develop and ensure adherence to VA formulary guidelines and contain drug costs.

TRT's assist in the localization of tumors, participate in treatment planning, and deliver high doses of ionizing radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologists.
