The Opportunity
Care Nova Health is seeking a detail-oriented and curious Data Analyst to transform healthcare and operational data into clear, actionable insights.
In this role, you will work with teams across the organization to develop reports, monitor performance, improve data quality, and answer important business questions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with complex datasets, communicating findings to nontechnical stakeholders, and balancing accuracy with practical business needs.
What You’ll Do
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple healthcare and business systems.
Build and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and performance scorecards.
Write SQL queries to retrieve, combine, and analyze data.
Monitor key performance indicators related to operations, patient experience, quality, financial performance, and organizational growth.
Identify trends, outliers, risks, and opportunities within large datasets.
Translate stakeholder questions into measurable analytical requirements.
Present findings through clear visualizations, summaries, and recommendations.
Partner with clinical, operational, financial, and leadership teams to support data-informed decisions.
Investigate reporting discrepancies and help improve data quality and governance.
Document data definitions, reporting logic, methodologies, and business rules.
Support forecasting, process-improvement, and ad hoc analytical projects.
Handle sensitive healthcare and business information in accordance with company policies and applicable privacy requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
Experience analyzing data and communicating findings to business stakeholders.
Proficiency with SQL.
Experience using a data visualization platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
Ability to organize, clean, and interpret large or complex datasets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in healthcare, health technology, insurance, clinical operations, or another regulated industry.
Familiarity with healthcare data, including claims, patient access, quality, revenue cycle, clinical, or operational data.
Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems, customer relationship management platforms, or healthcare data warehouses.
Understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and HIPAA-related responsibilities.
Experience developing automated reports or improving reporting workflows.
Knowledge of statistical methods, forecasting, experimentation, or predictive analytics.
